PAN SEARED SOY GLAZED BONELESS/SKINLESS CHICKEN THIGHS

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 pieces of boneless skinless chicken thighs
  • tsp minced garlic
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce
  • tsp brown sugar
  • black pepper
  • ¼ tsp sesame oil
  • tbsp rice wine/Chinese cooking wine (optional)
  • splash of orange juice (optional)

Directions:

Mix chicken thighs with marinade, and let sit in a bowl or zip lock bag for one hour.

Heat skillet with 2 tbsp of olive oil on medium high, place chicken thighs in (be careful of sizzle and oil splatter) and cover. Turn over after 5 minutes, then continue on medium heat for total of about 15-20 minutes until golden brown.

HOISIN GLAZED BONELESS/SKINLESS CHICKEN THIGHS

For those that consider the top recipe too much work, try this awesome 3-minute prep and 12-15 min cook time chicken recipe! Best served with hot white rice.

Turn oven on “broil” and set to high (12 min or so) or low (15 min or so). If you set it to high, you must watch it closely.

Ingredients:

  • 4-6 pieces of boneless skinless chicken thighs (can trim fat if desired)
  • 3 tbsp of prepared hoisin sauce from a jar (ethnic food aisle)

Directions:

Take chicken thighs out of the package and place on a baking sheet. Smear hoisin sauce all over the chicken thigh using your bare hands.

Wash hands and place chicken on the top rack of the broiler. Hit start, set timer to 10 minutes, then check on it. Chicken is done when it has a nice caramelized surface and juices run clear.

Serve with hot white rice and a salad or sautéed vegetables. Enjoy!
